I advise on tax structuring matters for investment funds (private equity, infrastructure, real estate, venture capital and debt funds), particularly with respect to German investments and German investors. My practice further focuses on all tax aspects in connection with cross-border M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations and joint venture structures. I have extensive experience in the restructuring of distressed companies and advise on the structuring of capital markets transactions, such as IPOs and debt issuance (specifically in the context of securitization matters). In addition, I coordinate Arendt’s German market activities between our Frankfurt office and Arendt’s headquarters in Luxembourg. Before joining Arendt in 2016, I worked as a tax lawyer for an international law firm in Frankfurt for several years- PhD from Konstanz University on the topic of German CFC regulation and EU tax law (Dr. iur.)- Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in commercial law from Auckland University - Member of the Frankfurt Bar (Germany)- Member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA)- Member of the German Taxation Lawyers Association (DStJG).
