About Philipp Lorber

I am a Project Manager at Mercedes-Benz AG with expertise in procurement, supplier quality, and international project management in the automotive industry, currently responsible for transmission-related scopes within the Procurement & Supplier Quality division. Over the last years, I have gathered valuable national and international cross functional team- and project experiences in different fields of the automotive industry. By working in projects ranging from powertrain development and powertrain production to digital transformation, I had the opportunity to experience various views within the branch, which has given me the ability to reflect and incorporate different stakeholders’ perspectives. I am passionate about troubleshooting and asking the right questions to find lean and creative solutions. Especially when it comes to task force management, I am enthusiastic about bringing diverse people together and effectively collaborate to achieve desired results while building a strong team-spirit. No matter how complex and diverse a project is, I strongly believe that effective communication, cooperation and spirit within the project team are the keys to successful project management. With a proven track record in managing multifaceted projects, I am motivated to bring structure, clarity and measurable impact to upcoming projects.
