About Philipp Schmid

I am a communications and marketing professional helping people and brands to get the attention they deserve. My work focusses on different marketing and communications disciplines. Personally i have a passion for good texts. Because text is communication in one of its purest forms and needs to be good to be understood the right way. Communication is not about being the loudest person in the room, nor is it about talking about everything without knowing who you are talking to. It is about listening and about noticing what is happening around you. As communicators, we have a great responsibility that we must be aware of. Once said or communicated, it often cannot be taken back. Communication for a company or a brand is never communication for a company or a brand. It is communication about and with the people who make up the company. That is why we as communicators need attitude. Attitude towards topics, attitude towards values and attitude towards opinions. Because only with attitude you can create strong and honest messages. With 15+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, Publics Relations, Marketing Communications and Journalism, I have worked in editorial offices, agencies, medium-sized companies as well as corporate groups and have been responsible for both internal and external communications. I have a bachelor’s degree in german studies, history and information science as well as a degree in Communications Management. Personally, I am interested in topics around hunting, stock market, economy and crypto currency. I like to enjoy good food and drinks with people important to me.
