About Philippa Marshall

I am a registered dietitian with 20 years experience gained in the NHS and freelance practice. I began my career at the Hammersmith Hospital seeing a wide variety of inpatients and outpatients and getting my first taste of working with children. I moved on to work in the community around South West London where I spent 7 years seeing adults and children in clinics, schools and their own homes with nutritional problems that included obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, food intolerance and allergy, failure to thrive in children, poor appetite, eating disorders, disease related weight loss, swallowing problems and tube feeding plus many more. More recently, I have managed therapy services for adults and children but maintained a keen interest in my professional roots. I launched Nutrition Ambition in December 2010 with the aim of making evidence based, individualised dietary advice accessible to anyone with a nutritional need and worked with a wide range of companies and individuals. I have now returned to full time practice in the NHS pursuing my career long interest in paediatrics. Special interests: Faltering growth, allergies, neonatal nutrition.
