About Philippa McGregor

I am a BASES accredited Chartered Sport Scientist specialising in Sport Psychology Support with a passion for investing in people to help them excel. Since beginning my career as an applied practitioner I have worked with youth and senior athletes, coaches, managers, and teams to honour their requests of sport psychology support to help them achieve their ambitions. I have developed a great curiosity in working with people to find simple effective solutions that will facilitate their progress and development. How do we take good to great and great to elite? I believe in supporting athletes to make small accumulative changes to in turn create modest consistent performance improvements. Through sharing knowledge and expertise as well as working collaboratively with others I strive to help people thrive. Working in sport is multi-faceted and multi-dimensional. I work with a range of different people day-to-day. My clients are not just the athletes and I’m required to deliver so much more than psychological skills. Exciting yet sometimes terrifying, there is no cook book to working in high performance sport. Each consulting experience has a life of its own and each program delivered must be tailored specifically to the needs of that individual or team.
