About Philippe Bex

My purpose, what gets me out of bed every morning, is to inspire people to reach and harness their full potential in service of the team's collective goals. I help them see what they are truly capable of, beyond what they believe is possible. This mission is grounded in leadership fundamentals strongly influenced by the sports culture of self improvement, instilled by my parents and 25 years of competitive swimming. My references are drawn from the philosophies advocated by great team sports coaches. I am a staunch supporter of John Wooden's Pyramid of success and the principles described by Bill Walsh in his book "The score takes care of itself". My why is expressed in all aspects of my life, whether in the development of my children or throughout my 30 year career in the highly competitive industrial world of the automotive industry. I am a realistic optimist. I have a resolutely positive vision of the future while taking into account the facts, constraints, and real difficulties. It is with enthusiasm that I intend to continue contributing to the development of the people I will have the privilege of leading and meeting throughout the second half of my life.
