In 2017 I joined Swiss Mobiliar Asset Management as Head Portfolio Management. Swiss Mobiliar Asset Management is a subsidiary of the Swiss Mobiliar Holding and has been an independent fund management company since 2012. Mobiliar Asset Management oversees around CHF 24 billion AuM, which is comprised of the assets of the Mobiliar Group, its pension funds, single and multi-asset investment funds and various third-party mandates. Together with my team, I am responsible for the active management of these different investment solutions. In my role, I am responsible for the further development of the investment processes for traditional asset classes, and I am a member of the Mobiliar Investment Committee and various steering committees. The Portfolio Management team won various Lipper Fund Awards in 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Since 2018, I have been a member of the Board of Directors of SVVK-ASIR (Swiss Association for Responsible Investments). Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, I was Head Outcome Driven Investments within the Multi Asset Class Investing boutique at Vontobel Asset Management. In my role, my team and I were responsible for various risk focused investment funds and client mandates in the areas of capital preservation and multi-asset total risk concepts. I was responsible for investment strategies and risk management as well as for furthering the development of these capabilities and creating tailor-made investment solutions for clients globally. From to 2013, I was Head of Asymmetric Portfolio Solutions at UBS Global Asset Management. In this role, my team and I managed various portfolios in the areas of capital preservation, convertible bonds, multi-asset total risk concepts and asymmetric equity solutions. I was responsible for investment strategies, risk management as well as for building up a product portfolio of asymmetric investment solutions globally (Zurich-Chicago-Tokyo). During this time, I significantly broadened the team’s capabilities to provide a diversified range of asymmetric investment solutions such as Equity Portfolio advanced (ratio call spreads), Equity Portfolio optimizer (call overwriting), Equity Portfolio navigator (volatility guided equity solution), Tactical Equity Overlay, Active Defense (capital preservation) and Multi-Asset Total Risk solutions. From 1997 to I worked as a portfolio manager at UBS for capital preservation portfolios. Before that, from 1994 to 1997, I managed active Swiss equity funds and client portfolios. I started my career as a junior portfolio manager at SBC (UBS) in 1991.
