About Philippe Bouillon

As a Quality Assurance Manager, I have demonstrated ability to exhibit leadership under pressure of reorganization and to continuously work for optimization and measurement of the testing process. Throughout my current professional experience, I hold responsibility for all testing activities, from requirement to acceptance for a software company belonging to a large-scale gaming solution organization. My team is in charge of maintaining around 50 products (3 main releases per year) developed in Delphi, Java and C# languages running on Oracle and DB2 DBMS. This requires as well a perfect synchronization with the Austrian teams in charge of the development of the hardware devices (cashless terminal, slot machine hardware…). In relation with this experience, I have written a short thesis which introduces the implementation of a test methodology partially using concepts from the TMap approach. Improve quality of software products forms the main goal of this methodology by detecting defects as soon as possible in the development cycle. During its implementation in the company, I have successfully leaded the change of working instructions and reinforced the role of the test team in the software development cycle.
