About Philippe Boulinguez

I am Full Professor of Neuroscience (profile: Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience) at the University Claude Bernard since 2013. I am currently heading the emerging team AcCoRD (Action Control and Related Disorders) at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Center (UMR CNRS 5292/INSERM U1028). My research focuses on the behavioral and neural bases of normal and pathological cognition, with a particular interest for Parkinson’s disease. My approach combines varied and complementary methods and domains, including psychological modeling, physiology-based forward inference, brain activity recording (fMRI, EEG, PET), Brain stimulation (TMS, DBS), and pharmacology. I am the head of the Master degree in Neuroscience, a program including three different training paths: Fundamental and Clinical Neuroscience; Perception Neurophysiology & Sensory Evaluation; and Sales Application Engineer. I teach fundamentals in cognitive neuroscience to students in Biology and Medicine (UCBL and ENS), and applications through a neuroscience-based professionally oriented program designed to meet the specific demands of companies regarding the evaluation of products and consumer behavior (M2 NPES).
