About Philippe Etienne

My educational background allowed me to understand IT from its origins, electronics, until it is put into operational. In 1992 I was already able to manage a project to create and code home automation system. With this training, I was able to develop an army post assignment program during my French military service in 1994 (Dbase2), and I accomplished several missions in electronic assistance and expertise, before I joined the PSA Groupe service. At PSA Groupe, I continued my training with the discovery of global IT and the many applications, System, Network, tools, used, as well as standards and concepts (ISO, Lean, Itil, DevOps, Agile.). My significant expertise in problem/incident management allowed me to impose myself as a referent, to finally manage an IT operating team. At the end of 2015, I joined the last Cobol referent, ENDEVOR administrator, developers and system integration support from PSA Groupe. Finally, I took over this expertise alone in 2017, to continue to develop it and eliminate obsolescence. The idea of ​​going back to high expertise in late 2015, after a managerial position, was to be able to prove to myself that Peter's principle did not apply to me, and that I still have very many resources. At Stellantis group since the beginning of 2021, I continued increase knowledge in z/OS and many other platforms. At the end of June 2021, after several interchanges with Broadcom Zowe Cli Brightside experts, I successfully ended the creation of a transmission method (SHIPCONN) based on old NDM skeletons.
