An experienced leader in both aviation and global energy, Philippe’s culture, leadership, technical ability, and risk management will prove to be an invaluable additional to any organization. Philippe pursued his love for flight while simultaneously working for Royal Dutch Shell. A skilled project manager and communicator, Philippe attained his initial leadership experience in the oil and gas industry. Achieving roles of increased responsibility, he held positions as a Regional Geologist, Exploration Geologist, Field Development and Exploration Team Leader, Deep Water Venture Leader, and ultimately as Exploration Operations Manager where he managed large multidisciplinary teams throughout the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. Philippe brings over 30 years of aviation, leadership, risk management, and technical experience to the flight deck. Having spent three decades in the global energy sector, his extensive knowledge leading cross sectional and multicultural teams throughout the world is evident as he commands each flight as a Captain on the Embraer 175 operating throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, and Cuba. Outside of the flight deck you can find Philippe in his garage building a Van’s homebuilt experimental category RV-14 aircraft, reading a good book, or spending quality time with his wife.
