HR Generalist since 2017, working for a global company and therefore being exposed to different countries and cultures, which was a great learning experience and helped me developing as a person both professionally as well as personally. As the company went through several changes, I had to adapt to new circumstances always ensuring that our employees received the best support. I have been working closely with colleagues from Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Denmark, Singapore and Hong Kong, learning about local differences and local needs. In my daily life I have been focusing on the following tasks: Managing the HR Life Cycle Overseeing the full HR life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, and employee offboarding. Collaborating with department heads to define hiring needs, conducting interviews, and ensuring smooth integration of new hires. Managing performance appraisal systems, setting SMART goals, and providing coaching and corrective action plans when necessary. Employee Relations, Engagement & Retention » Acting as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, fostering a positive work environment through open communication. » Leading employee engagement initiatives and monitoring satisfaction through surveys and exit interviews to support retention strategies. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance » Administering competitive compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and negotiations with benefit providers. » Ensuring full compliance with local and federal labor laws, health and safety regulations, and conducting regular audits to maintain legal and policy adherence. HR Information Systems, Reporting & Change Management » Managing HR Information Systems (HRIS) for efficient data management, privacy, and reporting. » Supporting organizational change initiatives during restructuring, mergers, or new system implementations to maintain operational effectiveness. Global Team & Apprenticeship Program Management » Leading a global team of up to 3 employees, ensuring high performance and continuous development. » Overseeing the apprenticeship program to provide effective training and growth opportunities for apprentices. HR Operations » Managing HR operations across multiple offices, including administrative processes, payroll, reference letters, social security, insurances, and the development and upkeep of employee handbooks and policies.
