Passion for Innovation and R&D” More than 30 years of experience in Innovation Management- Within international Chemical groups like Rhône-Poulenc, Rhodia and Solvay, and mid-size chemical company Cerdia, and now in a fast growing business Accsys- In the field of thermoplastic like Polyamide, Polyester, PP, elastomers such as silicone rubbers and Cellulose/bio-based polymer materials like Cellulose Acetate and also in the field of treated wood. Focus on chemistry, transformation technology, such as compounding, spinning etc, and materials performances testing- For markets and applications, like textile, non-woven, tires, automotive, tobacco or construction- Starting as R&D Lab manager in 1990 in a Rhône-Poulenc Corporate Research Center, taking then the leadership of R&D for some Global Business Unit of Rhodia-Solvay. In 2017-20, Head of R&D, Market Intelligence and Strategic Marketing for Cerdia (world leader for Cellulose Acetate). Since 2021, in charge of the Acetyl strategy for Accsys (fast-growing business on sustainable acetylated wood). Developing and mastering core competencies in the fields of- Innovation Management (Innovation strategy, innovation pipe management and piloting), Innovation Project management, Intellectual Property management (Patents and Trademarks) – >30 years - Leadership of international R&D teams up to 40 people as key business partner for its internal customers (Industrial, Engineering, Quality, Sales & Marketing) and external key business stakeholders (Raw material suppliers, technology providers, customers, Universities/Institutes)->25 years - Market Intelligence and Strategic Marketing – >5 years International experience: mastering 3 languages at professional working proficiency (English French and German), with professional activity located France, UK, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, management of multinational based teams (FR, It, D, CH, SVK, Br, RU). PhD in Chemistry and Physico-Chemistry of Polymers (ESPCI Paris-F and University of Leeds-UK), ESPCI (“Physique et Chimie de Paris”-F), General Management at CEDEP (INSEAD, Paris Area) and 6 SIGMA Black Belt. Selected key achievements: o Innovation of new bio-degradable Fiber Solution for Cigarette Filters (2016-today) o Restructuration R&D at Rhodia Acetow (2008-10) o Building of the Market Intelligence team at Solvay Acetow (2016-18)
