About Philippe Lemay

Chief of Party - Project Director leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams for international development organizations. Works collaboratively with public and private stakeholders including governmental institutions, donor agencies and international and national non-governmental partner organizations. Managed complex government contracts, cooperative agreements and grants with cumulative budgets in excess of three hundred million dollars and staff of over five hundred employees. In addition to proven leadership and management experience, has technical expertise in institutional capacity building and governance, health and nutrition, agriculture and livelihood, water and sanitation, social marketing and behavior change communication, community mobilization and performance and quality improvement systems. Has held eight long-term Chief of Party assignments managing US government funded projects in Zambia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Republic of Georgia, Madagascar, Rwanda, Nicaragua, and Bolivia. In addition, has provided short-term technical assistance in Ukraine, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, China, Benin, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, South Africa, Lesotho, Morocco, Jordan, Paraguay, Honduras, and Haiti. Native fluency in French, English and Spanish.
