I have worked as a teacher for eight years and for three of those years I also founded and ran my own small international school in Brazil. I have worked with students in grades 3-12 in traditional and multi-grade classrooms. I enjoy implementing new ideas in the classroom towards improving student achievement and well-being. You'll find me to be adaptable, caring and open to challenges. I work well in teams as well as in leadership roles. I am particularly interested in alternative schools and educators who are striving to build student-centered programs of education. I enjoy travel and outdoor activities.
