About Philippe Schoeb

I am a professionnal Master's student in Machine Learning at Mila and University of Montreal. Last May, I was hired as intern at Quandela with the task to provide insights in the field of photonic quantum machine learning by developing benchmarks. I am greatly interested in deep learning, quantum computing and data science. In addition, some domains of application that I find most interesting are climate changes and AI safety. I will be open to permanent position offers in summer 2026. In April 2024, I completed a Bachelor's degree of Computer Science and Physics. In early 2023, I received the IRIC Next Generation Awards, so I have had the chance to work on a research project in bioinformatics as my internship at the IRIC during summer 2023. Later, during the winter semester 2024, I have had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant for the course IFT2105 at University of Montreal.
