Background

About Phillip Blakey

I am committed to serving the community. My co-op placement with the Brampton Fire and Rescue Services, being part of the Blue Mountains Volunteer Fire Department, the Golden Volunteer Fire Department and Edmonton Fire Garrison, gave me the opportunity to participate in a variety of fire education lessons, as well as, use my skills and judgment in various fire suppression exercises and real life situations. Through these experiences I’ve learned the importance of preparedness and teamwork. My volunteer work has also offered opportunities to promote fitness, care for the environment and support charitable causes. As my references will show I have also demonstrated an ability to work calmly and confidently in stressful situations. As my resume suggests I am ready, willing and able to re-locate my residence, if necessary, to ensure that I can be of service to the community in my role as a firefighter. I would greatly appreciate an interview so I may further discuss what I have to offer
