About Phillip Bock

I have experience in quality assurance within the orthopedic industry, through my current internship at Avalign Technologies. I have research experience with mouse models and laboratory procedures (Western Blotting, Polymerase Chain Reaction, Gel Electrophoresis, Bicinchoninic Acid Assay, Cell Lysis/Protein Lysate and Protein Purification). I have learned how laboratory spaces operate through years of work in them. Skills that I have learned through my biomedical engineering degree track include soft skills (communication, time management, project management), MATLAB, CAD, mechanical testing, cell culture, and technical writing. I am also taking graduate-level courses, including Drug Delivery, Engineering Principles for Biomolecular Interactions, Regulatory Approval, and Tissue Engineering.
