About Phillip Cabrera

I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics graduate from Mindanao State University – General Santos City Campus, and I have passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) with weighted average of 83%. Additionally, I also graduated as Masters of Arts in Teaching Mathematics at Sultan Kudarat State University-IGS, ACCESS Campus, Tacurong City. In the beginning of my professional life, for a year, I have worked as College Instructor at Southern Mindanao Institue of Technology, Inc, Tacurong City and blessed to be working currently in Department of Education at Tantangan National High School as Mathematics teacher for 6 years. I am drawn to your institution’s teaching philosophy of fostering every individual’s growth and curiosity through a diverse curriculum, thus with my education, life, and professional experience, I can offer you my professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, and innovative ideas to adhere to the goals of your school. Therefore, this makes me a strong candidate for a Mathematics teaching position in your school. Additionally, I was assigned as the Curriculum Chairman of grades 9, 10, 7, and 8 for 5 years, been a Supreme Student Government Organization adviser for a year, and currently a Special Program in the Arts adviser. Initiated and organized philanthropic activity for two (2) consecutive school years (2017-2018 and 2018-2019) in reaching out underprivileged students in remote areas. I was a Regional and National coach of Poster Making and 3D collage making during Science Quests. From my first year of teaching to the present, I have received an Outstanding rating on my Individual Performance Commitment Review Form. President of the MAT-Mathematics Students Organization for two consecutive academic years (2017-2018 and 2018-2019), and Over-all Chairman of the Region XII Mathematics Festival for two (2) years.
