About Phillip Cunningham

Phillip Cunningham is an environmental scientist at RCE. His involvement at the company includes auditing a variety of carbon offset project types as well as greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories under voluntary and mandatory reporting programs. To date, he has completed over 150 verifications as a lead verifier under numerous programs. In the fall of 2019, Phillip was a peer reviewer for several sections of the U.S. EPA’s Global Non-CO2 Greenhouse Gas Emission Projections and Mitigation report. Phillip is an approved Lead Verifier for Landfill, Livestock, Ozone Depleting Substances, Coal Mine Methane, Nitric Acid Production, Nitrogen Management, Organic Waste Composting, Organic Waste Digestion, and Grasslands project protocols under the Climate Action Reserve; a California Air Resources Board accredited Lead Verifier for Livestock, Ozone Depleting Substances and Coal Mine Methane project verifications; a Lead Validator/Verifier for offset project types under Verra and the American Carbon Registry; a Lead Verifier under The Climate Registry verifying GHG emissions inventories for local governments, universities, and a variety of industrial sectors; a Lead Verifier for carbon offset projects under British Columbia's Climate Investment Branch, and a Lead Verifier under British Columbia, Ontario, California and Mexico's Mandatory GHG Reporting Regulations. Phillip Cunningham graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a B.S. in Environmental Science & Technology in 2011.
