Hiya! My name is Phil, I'm a 40-year old social media geek, mobile junkie, and writer from Baltimore. After spending 10 years in Europe I now reside in San Francisco. My book, “How to Marry a Finnish Girl“, is out on Gummerus Publishers. Spending the past several years in various Marketing and Communications roles at Nokia's Finland and Silicon Valley headquarters, I've most recently headed up Social Media for Nokia North America. Before that I was Editor-in-Chief of Nokia's official blog, Nokia Conversations, which boasts a readership over one million uniques per month. And previously was the digital marketing lead for Nokia's gaming and app store initiatives. The Verge recently called me one of Nokia's "more public faces". Whether it be a startup, agency, or established brand, I'm looking for a group of young, diverse, and passionate people who share in my passions. I'm in search of a brand who understand social but want to take it to the next level, breaking new ground in the social space.
