About Phillip Willis

I’ve spent over 20 years helping people whether in restaurants, call centers, or member support roles. I started out in hospitality as a server and bartender, then moved into call centers, including working as a deaf relay operator for the California and Hamilton Relay Services. In 2013, I joined the Austin Board of Realtors and worked my way up from Facility Coordinator Assistant to Member Advocate, helping realtors and affiliates through phone, email, chat, and in person. After moving to Knoxville, TN area in 2022, I joined One Inc. as a CSR, then moved into the Stop/Reissue Team, and later became a Support Quality Rep. In 2025, I stepped into my current role as a CX Operations Specialist, where I focus on improving how we support both our internal teams and our customers.I care deeply about giving people great service and making things work better behind the scenes. I believe small improvements can make a big difference.I was born in rural southwest Louisiana, and the culture I grew up in still shapes how I approach life and work with curiosity, resilience, and a strong sense of community.Outside of work, I love being outdoors—hiking, kayaking, or just enjoying nature. I’m also a big fan of fantasy and sci-fi stories, roleplaying games, and writing. I’m currently working on a novel series and a poetry book. And I share my home with Salem aka the Dark Lord, my 24-year-old black cat who rules the house.
