About Phillipe Cantin

I'm a Senior Agile Specialist after long years as a Software Developer. I strive to be a polymathic person interested in a range of subjects in order to innovate, problem-solve and design. Following studies in computer science, Mr. Cantin has worked in information technologies since 1996 in a multitude of application domains where he played different roles like architect, principal architect, IT project chief, and innovation manager. Since 2005, Mr. Cantin has applied the Scrum method in all the projects he led. He also gave training to development teams and introduced agile concepts to managers and business leaders. Since 2014, Mr. Cantin has participated, as a senior Organizational Agile Coach and Trainer, in many organizational transformation initiatives in banking, insurance, government, and private industries. Mr. Cantin has been actively involved in the Lean-Agile domain since 2009. He wrote the book Rally-Point Backlog (20017), invented the CrumbScale agile estimation method (2009), and regularly gives conferences. Since 2021, Mr. Cantin architected and deployed a Lean-Agile flow management system for the CGI Squads. His current subjects of interest are estimation, metrics, flow management, and agile contracts.
