About Phindile Shivambu

As a Project Planner at Zutari, I am fascinated by systems and how they work, and I am interested in finding sustainable and innovative solutions within the energy, telecommunications and engineering industries across all boarders. I have been involved in the Seriti Kriel Colliery - Block F Phase 2 Project, where I am responsible for developing and updating the Master Schedule, integrating with the Cost Engineer, monitoring the contractors' progress and schedules, identifying and flagging potential risks, and analyzing time impact and delay claims. I have a BSc.(Hons) Construction Management from University of the Witwatersrand, and I have also completed certifications in Introduction to SAMTRAC and Green Star Accredited Professional (New Buildings). I have previously worked as a Junior Planner at Turner & Townsend and a Junior Construction Engineer at Group Five, where I gained valuable experience in schedule interrogation and interpretation, critical path review, baseline maintenance, progress reporting, data visualization, QA/QC coordination, activity planning and supervision, and cable yard management. I have a strong skill set in resource planning, project planning, and project control, and I am always eager to learn and grow in my field.
