About Phirany Sun

My mother and father were sponsored to America from Cambodia in 1981, a year later, my dad, formed a band and became lead guitarist. After a couple of years, he discovers my mom’s natural singing abilities, shocked with his discovery; he begged and persuaded her to become the lead singer in their band. They traveled the nation performing at cultural weddings and events. I have been immersed in the world of music since I was a child—my passion for this art form runs deep. However, after losing my father at a young age, this pastime suddenly came to a halt. Years later, I heard this quote from the Jamaican spiritual teacher Mooji: “Step into the fire of self-discovery. This fire will not burn you; it will only burn what you are not.” Inspired to transform adversity into action, I returned with a revived sense of purpose to my pursuit of an executive career in music—and I haven’t looked back. Whether collaborating with powerful industry influencers, leveraging my experience in the fashion and beauty industries to prepare artists for major appearances at the Grammy and Academy Awards, or establishing and operating my own company, I navigate the music industry’s constantly changing demands with adaptability, resilience, and creativity. Beyond the professional roles I’ve held, I am also a humanitarian, artist, and environmentalist. I genuinely care about and am grateful for the world we live in, and am devoted to creating impactful, meaningful experiences to be shared among individuals alike; I believe the exchange of art can help cultivate a world rich with love and authenticity.
