About Phoebe Botros

After living the first 23 years of my life in Egypt, I relocated to the United States to continue my life’s journey in the country I wished to live in. Since I moved in 2018, I decided to obtain my second bachelor’s degree in business management/ operations. Relocating to another country, adapting to new culture, learning new language were very challenging. However, I believe that hard work and determination are one of the most important traits to any success. I’m a person who never gives up as long as I have the ability and I always enjoy being challenged. Every time I face challenges, I discover new skills and new experiences which always boost my personal growth and give me the confidence to push further for more growth. In my previous role as a student intern in the advancement department at Stony Brook University. I assisted the HR team with the onboarding process of new hires. I kept and maintained all new hires documents in orderly manner, and I paid invoices and placed purchase orders for the department. Additionally, I collaborated with the team to complete other duties as assigned. I’m extremely passionate about motivating and supporting people. I also enjoy creating a positive and healthy workplace culture that encourage creativity and productivity. The first thing I learned in business that customers are the heart of any successful business. I also believe that keeping your employees motivated and happy to come to your business is the most important assets of any organization. Therefore, I’m really excited and open to join the HR industry to achieve what I’m passionate about in this field.
