About Phoebe Bunje

My biggest drives are being busy, staying creative, and exploring new concepts. I graduated in 2020 from the University of Sussex, where I studied Economics and International Development. Not only has this opened my eyes to business models and the global economy, but also, the drive for a sustainable and more equal future. Despite my degree being predominantly academic, I thrive creatively. Exploring design in all forms excites me, as well as getting stuck into my own projects at home. Most of my free time is used for staying up to date with new directions, whether that's in fashion, decor or cooking, using social media as both a platform for the latest trends and my own creativity; personally as well as a start-up business '@shop_bunje' where I sell homemade macramé and create interior concepts. I have 6 years of experience in customer service, varying from hospitality to, more recently, a role in the customer service team at Bulb Energy, a growing renewable energy company, working as an energy specialist. Not only has this kept me on top of consumer interests, but I have also adapted great communicative skills with consumers and stakeholders at all levels. At University I developed a versatile skill set. I completed extensive research essays for broad development topics. This has taught me how to research effectively and writing skills to a high standard. I also became proficient in data analysis, in my final year I performed a comprehensive data analysis on a large dataset, using Stata, to draw conclusions and trends. I am an extremely organised and productive individual, looking for a new opportunity that I can get stuck in too, using all my skills and experience to the best of my ability. The environment I will thrive in would be fast-paced, creative, and current. I am more than happy to learn on the job or take on any necessary training before stepping into a new role.
