About Phoebe Cox

Global, Open-Minded, Passionate. An ATCK working to bridge the gap across cultural, personal and political differences, one small, compassionate step at a time. Growing up across a number of countries in South East Asia, I had the privilege of a diverse and dynamic upbringing, surrounded by a melting-pot of different cultures, traditions, languages and experiences. This has instilled in me a deep respect for and interest in cross-cultural experiences of what it means to be human and a desire to understand how we can learn from each other and live together in a peaceful and open-minded society. I am currently studying towards my Bachelor's Degree (with Honours) in Psychology, alongside working with a humanitarian aid charity, supporting refugees and asylum seekers across the UK and France. I hope to combine my studies in psychology with my passion for supporting others, particularly those forcibly displaced, so am open to any opportunities in the humanitarian aid sector that suit my skill set and help me develop further. I have also recently been made a ProjectHEAL Global Ambassador, campaigning for more people with eating disorders across the globe to get the treatment they so desperately need and deserve. As a cause very close to my heart, I am looking forward to supporting them in their mission and using my lived experiences to help others.
