About Phoebe Dodd

Hey, I'm Phoebe! Get to know me. I finished university with a degree in Creative and Therapeutic Arts - which in summary is the importance of creativity, and the therapeutic potential for individuals and communities who participate. During this time I participate in exhibitions and facilitated sessions for vulnerable people, helping them express themselves by creating and making art accessible. Fast forward to 2020, I was working as an SEN TA and realised I wanted to get back into creating and started looking for work. I applied for an apprenticeship with Creative Alliance, where I was accepted on the Digital Content Creator Level 3 apprenticeship at Develo Design. Alongside learning Digital Content Creation, I attended all modules for the Digital Marketing apprenticeship. I felt this was beneficial as having an understanding of both is important, as they come hand-in-hand when creating or marketing on digital platforms. During this time I learnt- Adobe suite - Principles of Coding - Digital Marketing Since finishing my apprenticeship I was promoted to Digital Content Creator at Develo, where I have created a social schedule focusing on the key areas for content, creating video and graphic content, and assisted with wireframes for websites and digital assets for branding. Alongside this, I have worked freelance on some projects where I have helped with branding and created digital illustrations for companies to encompass their brand ethos and voice across platforms. I have also been working with small businesses to help them create a strategy and way to reach their goals on different platforms. I have also started volunteering as a social media manager and graphic designer at a local athletics club. I am helping to build their community and increasing engagement through creating content for events and building their brand message. I am continuously growing my skills and learning by attending webinars, and courses and producing passion projects in my spare time.
