With over 16 years of experience, I am a passionate and dedicated marketing & communications expert and team leader for mission-driven non-profit organizations. I have a proven track record of creating and executing successful integrated and comprehensive communications plans, forging strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders, and leading high-performing teams. Most recently, I was the Senior Manager of Community Engagement at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), where I align my mission of improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities with MSK's vision of advancing cancer care and research. I led the strategic direction for MSK's first community outreach department, ensuring that the institution is embedded within the fiber of the fabric of the communities throughout its catchment area, including NYC, LI, Westchester, and NJ. I have developed and implemented innovative programs and events that engage and educate the public on cancer prevention, screening, and treatment, as well as promote MSK's clinical trials and services. I have also established and maintained strong relationships with elected officials, civic leaders, schools, faith-based institutions, unions, agencies, and community-based organizations. To support my work, I leverage my skills in event coordination, participatory research, and public relations, as well as my knowledge of communication and media studies.
