About Phoebe Larner

As an ambitious BSc Business Economics student, the prospect of tailoring vital economic and financial insight to deliver practical, real-world proposals is hugely motivating. The flexibility of my course has enabled me to undertake specialised modules focussed upon aspects of both Economics and Management.Throughout my studies, I’ve undertaken numerous excel-based, analytical projects that have enhanced my data-informed decision-making skills. Actively seeking to develop these skills further, I’ve recently undertaken an Industrial Placement at Deloitte, alongside the Bright Network's Investment Banking and Asset Management virtual internship, and CISL's eight-week Sustainable Finance course. Outside of academia, I’ve enhanced my transferable skillset, developing valuable communication skills and prioritising customer-centricity. Notably, I’ve gained experience waitressing at The Howard Arms and volunteering for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. With a proven ability to perform efficiently within both collaborative and independent environments, I hope to optimise the scope of Economics to assist in the resolution of global challenges and to influence future decisions in a manner that promotes positive change.
