Our strengths are often born out of our greatest challenges. Adversity allows us the opportunity to learn how to play to our strengths. We come to realize silver linings are everywhere in everything. When our biggest challenges are overcome through curiosity and effort, we inevitably strengthen our relationship with Self. Ultimately, empowering ourselves to believe and action our dreams forward. When interacting with youth, it's imperative to not discourage any developmental stage they go through. Rather, seeing it as a form of language and way of connecting.When we give space for children to explore their own innate curiosities, they’re ability to flourish increases. It's important to be considerate, conscious, and calm. To be curious and lean into learning who they are alongside them. Guiding them as needed and nurturing their own intuition/gut/soul.This, I believe, is how we support the future. By encouraging social emotional wellbeing, allowing for creative critical thinking, strengthening mind-body connection, and appreciating independence and autonomy; ultimately strengthening each unique voice and honoring each unique soul. I envision this is a way society can learn to break free from limiting systems. We raise children that are curious, confident, and capable. We help them strengthen their awareness of their own innate superpowers. We truly believe in the power and value they bring to this world. We understand that together is better than alone. If we really want to change the world, we go back to our roots, our inner child. When we see her/him/them, when we listen, when we sit, we feel and we come to know. The answers, the feelings we seek externally are always found deep within. We have all the tools we need to turn that dream into reality. We must commit to radical responsibility. This is what creates lasting self-respect, self-trust, and self-love. We surrender to the idea that the only control we have is within. When we become the master of our own minds, our own bodies, and our own souls we have the opportunity to live out our truest and highest potential. If you want to be of service to the future, then focus on the youth. Never underestimate the mind of a child. And remember, it is never too late to meet yourself as a little kid again. Carl Jung said it best, “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are”.
