About Phoebe Yoon

I’m a third-year undergraduate at the University of Virginia, double majoring in Media Studies and East Asian Studies, with a concentration in Korean. My academic interests focus on how media shapes culture, particularly through the lens of East Asian media. I’m passionate about media analysis, production, and research, and I’m eager to apply my skills in real-world contexts. Through leadership roles in organizations like alpha Kappa Delta Phi and community initiatives such as Taste of Home at UVA, I’ve gained valuable experience in event planning, team management, and cross-functional collaboration. Currently, I am building expertise in public relations and communications through internships with the Woodstock Film Festival and the aKDPhi International Leadership Board.
