Numbers tell stories, and I love being the one to uncover them.” I’m Phu Qui Dang, a "Saigonese" living in Melbourne and currently completing my Master of Business Analytics at La Trobe University. My goal is to build my career as a Data Analyst or ICT Business Analyst in Australia, using data to solve real-world business challenges while working toward permanent residency and, one day, creating my own business. I’ve had the chance to learn and grow through a mix of professional and part-time roles. At tRetail Labs, I validated and analyzed data from more than 150 airports worldwide. At Flexikitch, I explored freight costs and recommended solutions to reduce inefficiencies. At Woolworths, I managed stock for thousands of customers each week while supporting smooth store operations. Each role has shaped how I approach data, taught me the value of collaboration, and reminded me that even small improvements can make a big difference. My toolkit includes SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI and Tableau. What excites me most is not just the tools themselves but the chance to use them to find insights, support decision-making, and help businesses grow. I’m now seeking opportunities as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst where I can apply my skills, keep learning from industry experts, and contribute to projects that make a real impact in Australia.
