Fans of the movie Napolean Dynamite will remember when Napolean’s brother, Kip, rides a stallion as an entrance to his wedding. Napolean’s brother composed a song for his bride. Here’s a portion of it: Yes, I love technology, But not as much as you, you see. But I still love technology, Always and forever. These ridiculous lyrics always make me laugh but in a way, I identify with Kip! I too, love technology…now and forever. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a list of software programs longer than my arm. But the first time I worked on Salesforce, something just clicked. It was kind of like meeting my technology soulmate. I’m in the fortunate position to work on Salesforce as a Salesforce system administrator, and a trainer to end-users. This has given me a 360-degree perspective of its capabilities in a variety of applications. The more I learn, the more I look forward to the next rollout. I was recently asked about the most counter-intuitive thing I’ve learned in life so far. After thinking for a minute, I decidedly answered that in the Salesforce community, everyone is celebrated, regardless of age, background, ethnicity, education, gender, and more. Unlike just about every other area of life, Salesforce creates equality by giving everyone a chance to shine - anyone can become a ‘rock star.’ Here’s a little more about me: Throughout my career, I’ve worked in many fields under the non-profit umbrella. I’ve found that creating cross-functional bridges, and an environment where everyone contributes is the best way to solve problems and keep evolving. In my case, my contribution includes ideation, futuristic vision, and activation. I am also a fast learner and able to adapt to different circumstances to quickly gain traction. I greatly enjoy developing relationships with business clients and internal staff. These relationships enable me to make better contributions, and create solutions that ultimately will HELP PEOPLE. That driving desire will never diminish. Lastly: I still love technology, now and forever.
