About Phyllis Chong

Consultant with over 20 years experience of working on major construction projects in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. Broad experience in cost planning, contract administration, contractual claims and dispute resolutions on various projects including residential, commercial, industrial, education and infrastructure. Involvement in the preparation of an assessment of contractual claims and the analysis of quantum issues on complex construction dispute. Extension international experience having worked with Singaporean, British, German, Australian, Korean, Middle Eastern and French contracting and consulting organisations. Phyllis founded her own company since 2017 and working as a consultant for overseas companies and promoting their sustainable solution and innovation technology to the East Asia and South East Asia countries. Currently, Phyllis is working as an consultant for an European based timber engineering and construction company (Rubner) since 2020. She is responsible to develop the business strategy plan and to promote the use of engineered timber to the construction industry in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan and Korea. Her main role is to expand the client’s market and introduce the company product to the local architect, developer, contractor, structural engineer and government body. She is actively involved in meeting new clients, participate in conferences, and seminars, organising exhibition and maintain the client relationship.
