My Background: I had always aspired to be a secret agent, which worked to my advantage in attaining my degree in criminology and psychology from the University of Maryland. Realizing the dangers of being in the Drug Enforcement Agency were not for me, I made my way to California and when my car broke down in Stockton I believed serendipity struck. While I worked in the medical field, it became clear that a great number of people with insurance were unclear as to what kind of coverage they actually had. It was a shocking awakening for me that people were being preyed upon so easily, and I did not like that, so in a milestone moment, I felt a real calling to become an insurance agent. Beyond life insurance or healthcare coverage, people working toward their financial future, whether it was estate or retirement planning were also at risk by not having an experienced expert in the field review their finances. There is a rewarding feeling that comes from helping people, and when it comes to financial planning and insurance needs I believe that it makes sense to address those needs in the best possible way. In a way I feel I am living my dream because I am the advocate for my clients, and by offering the best service, I am their not-so secret agent. I feel that by being active and participating in the community, with Stockton Rotary, Temple Israel, Stockton Women's Network and the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce for example, I have truly grown to cherish Stockton and the the Central Valley my family's home.
