About Phyllis Sanchez

I have been blessed to have a life-long career in long term care with my lovely seniors! I have been fortunate to have had wonderful mentors and began my career as a front line service worker and never forgot the value of that position! I gained promotions over the years and realized my dream of being the Founder & CEO of Senior Care Systems of Colorado, Inc, a private nonprofit corporation that has owned Belmont Senior Care Assisted Living Community for over 30 years! I truly believe a home-like, non-institutional, holistic and personal approach is a great fit for many older adults. Our motto is to care for every resident as we would want our own elder family member to be treated! We continually add service lines/niche markets that meet community needs and are completely resident-centered in our approach to care. I believe in a collaborative leadership approach, which values all staff including our front-line staff as an intergral and important part of our professional team who work compassionately to provide respectful, outstanding personalized care. Our homes with 9-10 residents each provides a small famliy type setting for our older adults. Home cooked meals and comraderie provide a wonderful atmosphere for our residents. We work hard for and enjoy the great reputation we have built in the Pueblo community!
