About Phyllis Willis

Phyllis is a Maryland State Licensed Master’s Social Worker and studied at the University of Southern California. Phyllis is the founder and President of Faith Full Giving, an organization whos mission is "To provide programs and resources that improve the well-being of children and families impacted by socioeconomic risks and financial disparities, with a targeted focus on low-income families, foster care youth, and veterans." Phyllis grew up in Baltimore City and entered the foster care system at age 6. Growing up without always having access to food, resources, and experiencing evictions as a child she knew firsthand the struggles that children in poverty face. Through her own experiences, Phyllis naturally developed a deep passion for helping those who are disenfranchised and struggling financially. Throughout her career, Phyllis has worked in many areas of the human service field including working as a College Coordinator for foster youth pursuing higher education, assisting veterans to obtain housing and stability, and helping the mentally and developmentally disabled live happy lives. Today, Phyllis focuses her efforts on both policy and practice to advocate and assist these groups with life's challenges. Through direct and indirect service she helps promote education, economic stability, & self-sufficiency.
