About Pia Jorks

Hi there, I’m Pia Jorks! I am a Digital Marketing Master’s Student at the International University of Applied Science (IU). Currently I am working as Marketing Manager and Expert for the Female Health Start Up Caona Health GmbH, while also implementing my own social media projects, such as a travel and lifestyle account called @baopackers, sharing insights on life between Asia and Europe. Before that I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Economics, mainly specialising in international and national climate policy, advocacy and research. However, I was always drawn to the areas of strategic planning, communication, stakeholder engagement and story telling. This and my creative passion led me to rethink my career path and transition into digital marketing and brand strategy. It is my goal to leverage my expertise in data-driven insights, advocacy, and community building to help brands connect with their specific target audiences. My background in policy taught me how to analyse complex topics, craft compelling narratives, and drive engagement. I’ve managed several big projects, as well as have experience in team leadership. These skills now inform my work in content marketing, brand positioning, and social media strategy. My Masters in Digital Marketing solidifies my knowledge and skills. Passionate about purpose-driven marketing, I help brands create impact through storytelling, audience engagement, and strategic campaigns. A little more about me: I am a joyful person, who values mutual respect and honesty. I love music (listening and making it), having played the piano, sung and danced for years, but I’ve always been a pop-music fan. To me music is soul food, connects people and allows them to self-express. I am passionate about beauty and health, specifically K-Beauty and Asian beauty trends, as well as hormonal health. I’m everyone’s personal photographer, always having an eye for aesthetic shots and capturing moments - you’re welcome! Good food brings me into a good mood - always. Traveling is my favourite thing in the world. I’ve been told that I might be a Disney princess because I have such a deep connection to animals. Last but not least, I deeply care about the state of the world. I’m looking forward to connect and am always open for a Matcha or Decaf Americano!
