I work as a project coordinator in a Roma Family work project. The project is funded by Stea and managed by Romano Missio. The aim of the project is to develop a family work method that best supports Roma families. The model will be compiled in a manual, which will then be distributed to operators in the social field. Development work is done by doing family work in families and collecting information on the effects and results of the action. My job description includes project management, scheduling, financial management, supervising project staff, staff training arrangements, authority collaboration, project communication and evaluation, developing a familyworking method, working with families, and writing reports for Stea. I also work as a pair of Romano Missio's social service counselor in child protection matters. I´m responsible for co-ordinating and managing the organization's family work purchasing service. I´m also in charge of the information security at Romano Missio. I give lectures and presentations about Finnish Roma culture and how it should be regodnized in social work. Previously, I worked in a housing unit for underaged refugees. My task was to take care of the children and familiarize them with Finnish culture. In addition, I was responsible for the unit's security and cash management. Prior the housing unit I worked as an instructor in a children's home for about 8 years. My task was to take care of the children, replace the manager when needed and be in charge of the medication.
