About Pierce Atchison

I am a recent graduate of Deloitte's Bright Start higher apprenticeship. This program combined part-time studies in Business Technology, leading to a BSc, with a full-time role in Deloitte's Enterprise Technology practice. This non-traditional path has equipped me with a balanced blend of academic knowledge and practical experience, which has proven invaluable in my early career. Over a course of 5 years I have had the privilege of working directly with clients in ERP consulting at Deloitte. My responsibilities primarily revolved around supporting SAP and Oracle implementations for clients in both the private and public sectors, with a strong focus on project planning and management. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of business principles, process improvement, effective planning, and change management. In addition to my project experience I also had the opportunity to work with the Department for Health and Social Care and with various internal Deloitte teams through secondments. Enthusiasm for the engineering and manufacturing sectors has led me to my current role as a Project Planner with the CDE Group. I've made a transition from planning and managing ERP implementations to the planning and management of complex engineering projects, and I'm excited about the growth opportunities this change brings. In summary, my career has been characterised by a dedication to professional growth and adaptability. My unique background, combining academic learning with genuine industry experience positions me as a well-rounded professional who can bring valuable insights to any project. I'm looking forward to new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
