About Pierce Hicks

As a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Special Education and Teaching, I have dedicated my career to supporting diverse students and individuals with various needs and challenges. I am currently an Intervention Specialist for Hamilton County ESC, at The Learning Center at North Norwood, where I spearhead comprehensive behavioral and mental health support for students, excelling in tailored interventions, committee participation, community partnerships, diverse teaching, IEPs, and therapy dog handling.In addition to my role as an Intervention Specialist, I am also a Home Care Provider at Halo Inc. and a Lead Spray Technician at Mosquito Shield. As a Home Care Provider, I specialize in supporting an individual with Autism and Down syndrome both at home and within the community, proficiently facilitating a spectrum of activities, and leveraging my background in special education to enhance communication, address behavioral needs, and nurture essential life skills. As a Lead Spray Technician, I direct a team in delivering outdoor pest management solutions, overseeing training, treatments, client education, equipment maintenance, and product mixing, all centered on delivering effective and safe pest control for enhanced customer satisfaction and outdoor comfort. I am driven by a deep commitment to holistic student and individual development and community impact, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as skills in curriculum development and individualized education program.
