As of January 2018, Pierre now has both the Automation and Performance testing resources under his direction within the Quality Control Team as we embark on a corporate QA initiative at MBC. Pierre was promoted in 2015 to the position of Team Leader, part of the Quality Control team in Moncton. In this role Pierre will be responsible for leading his team in the strategy, planning, and implementation efforts for performance testing as well as ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the personnel for QC Testing initiatives. Pierre joined our organization in 2012 where he has been a Lead Quality Control Analyst responsible for developing performance test strategies for projects, providing team members’ guidance and mentoring on our performance test process and tools, and ensures collaborations with projects being supported. Prior to joining Medavie Blue Cross, Pierre Cormier was a member of the FCS/SD AO engagement in Fredericton, NB, from December 1996 to June 2012. Pierre recruited as an experienced hire, started out as an Application Specialist, and after about six months became a Team Lead. Later, Pierre took on a second role to serve as the Team's Test Lead for Releases and Projects. After performing the Test Lead role for about four years, Pierre cross trained another team member to take on the Test Lead role to provide more depth on the team. Pierre Cormier is an experienced Team Lead who has also gained good experience in a dual role as Test Team Lead.
