About Pierre Darancet
My primary research goals are directed toward theoretical understanding and first-principles modeling of electronic structure and energy transport at nanoscale interfaces. Ultimately, I seek to develop the intuition relating the fundamental rules governing the photovoltaic effect at the nanoscale to their consequences on material and device design for new generation solar cells, fuel cells, and batteries.
