SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE Pierre Dubeau has more than 26 years of experience as an Environmental and Remote Sensing Specialist, with a focus on wetlands and other aquatic freshwater ecosystems. His expertise includes environmental impact assessment and ecosystem monitoring using remote sensing and GIS technology to support management and conservation efforts. Mr. Dubeau has extensive experience managing complex projects, collaborating with international organizations, government agencies, and local communities in developing countries, notably in South-East Asia and Africa, including Ethiopia and Madagascar; also in British Columbia, Canada. Recent projects include analyzing historical bombing data and data pertaining to Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) in Cambodia; conducting monitoring reforestation initiatives in Malawi; and assessing mangrove ecosystems along the eastern coast of Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, and Mozambique) and in Madagascar. Mr. Dubeau remains active as a seasoned consultant, providing practical, science-based support to environmental projects worldwide.
