I engage the organization as a cross functional expert that's focusing on maximizing ROI on software assets through engaging the whole lifecycle of software. This is achieved by using a enterprise architectural approach that engages all from procurement organizations to technical applications teams. Simply put I focus on maximizing value from software. I use different techniques to maximize ROI from software investments and minimize risk exposure from contractual obligations. This is done by focusing on managing the lifecycle of software throughout its journey within the organization. By implementing processes, routines and regulations within the organization I put in the architecture that will ensure contract compliance and ensure greater value delivery for each sum of money spent on software. I'm passionate about what I do and blog and post articles about these topics, I believe in sharing the knowledge and empowering people. I function as a cross functional role that ties together financial, managerial, project management, legal, and technical aspects to create web of processes that deal with software. I do this by empowering people and teams with knowledge to ensure that we all share a common vision and everybody understands why. I architect an organization that can support and manage software asset management as it is best needed at the time. I thrive in changing environments and I think that the empowering part is a big part of that, because empowering people through knowledge and understanding makes them more resilient to handle change. The cross functional aspects has given me the privilege to develop skills in contract management and procurement, and given me a broad insights into IT management in general. All this has then been applied and lessons have been acquired through start-up environments, divestitures, globalization projects, reorganizations, in a high paced and ever changing environment.
