About Pierre Roux

I am currently working as an Senior Engineer for IMDC (International Marine and Dredging Consultants) within the team of Marine, Dredging and Port Engineering, in Antwerp, Belgium. My duties are to provide design assistance on projects located along coastlines, ports, the offshore sector, inland waterways, and blue energy sector; as well as project management and offer preparation. I aim to maintain and improve a high level of motivation, dedication, and responsibility throughout my career towards clients, partners and colleagues. I am currently the Project Manager for an FSRU terminal development (marine structures design) My other experiences are: Physical model testing and construction; Coastal and Stormwater Engineer; Assistant Resident Site Engineer; Chief Resident Engineer; Tender Manager and Procurement, Costing Engineer and Field testing and Monitoring. My project achievements are: Gold Winner Project of the Year 2022 - IPMA Global Project Excellence Awards; Project of the Year - City of Cape Town South Africa 2021; Young Project Manager of the Year 2020. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering as well as a Masters Degree in Port and Coastal Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
