About Pierson Gable

I am a graduate student in the Masters of Accountancy program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am a results-driven leader who brings a team together. This was demonstrated when I was selected to be team captain of the Deloitte FanTAXtic case competition and led my team to first in our region and eventually nationals at Deloitte University. Other strengths of mine include being a team player and surpassing expectations. As an intern at both EY and Deloitte, I was put on Detroit's biggest clients due to my work ethic. Additionally, at Plante Moran, I worked in international tax 60 hours a week during busy season which truly expanded my depth of knowledge.Some of my business interests include understanding international tax regulations and how companies in other countries require unique tax strategies. The experience I gained participating in my study abroad program prepared me to build on my foundational skills in international business and apply them in my accounting courses.
