Background
About Piia Ratava
At Metsäkartano Youth Centre, the helm of our environmental education project initiatives rests in my hands, where fostering eco-consciousness among children is the mission. My journey as a Wilderness Guide and Wild Herb Instructor at Metsäkkö, spanning over six years, has equipped me with the unique ability to craft engaging programs that intertwine sustainability, health, and the joy of nature. The Natureschool Project, under my leadership, reflects not only a dedication to environmental stewardship but also the pursuit of creating a community cognizant of their ecological footprint, eager to safeguard our natural habitats.
